Washington Pride Captain Haley Skarupa was named the 2012 JWHL Elizabeth 'Liz' Turgeon Player of the Year at the league banquet held in Littleton, CO.  The award is given annually to a player who embodies the values that Liz Turgeon represented, including: a positive attitude, incomparable work ethic, fiercely competitive, selfless, and who makes an invaluable contribution to her team.
