The JV Blazers Hockey team's record remains perfect tonight, after soundly defeating the Portage Saints 7-0. The Blazers took control early in the game and never looked back. Led by Kayla Karbonik and her linemates Megan Ross and Kathryn Lukowski, the Blazers held the lead 3-0 and 5-0 after the first and second periods respectively. Rachel Dyck posted her second straight regular season shut-out (third shut-out in a row including pre-season) for the Blazers second regular season win in as many games.

The Blazers will put their 2-0-0 record on the line again on Wednesday October 20th at the MTS Iceplex against College Jeanne Sauve.
