Day 2 of the opening interdivisional weekend on the JWHL schedule saw the Blazers square off against the perennial powerhouse NAHA, in a rematch of the league final two years ago. NAHA came out quick in the opening 8 minutes by taking a 3 - 0 lead, but the Blazers would not back down and played a strong second period. The third period saw the Blazers push back by pulling within 2, and despite some quality chances, the Blazers fell 3 - 1.

With only a few hours turnaround the Blazers then took to the ice against the host, Boston Shamrocks. This time it was the Blazers who were able to jump out into the lead with 2 goals in the first followed by another 3 in the third. With a strong team effort, the Blazers were able to secure the 5 - 0 win, with Ryplanski '11 and Dyck '13 splitting the shutout.

Up next are the Pride from Washington!
