The Junior Women's Hockey League will kick off it's 10th season October 7-9 at Merrimack College in Boston MA. The race for the league title will begin for both the 19U and 16U divisions, as well as a 14U Showcase. Games will be played at Merrimack College's two rinks as well as Restuccia Arena.

"Since 2007, we have been working hard to build a great league with great teams, and we are very excited to be entering our 10th JWHL season!", said JWHL co-founder Kush Sidhu of the Washington Pride. "Our longevity is due the dedication and vision of our league leaders, hard work of our coaches and commitment of our talented student-athletes.  With over 700 college placements in our first 9 years, we are confident that the JWHL will continue to yield the most college-ready players annually in North America."

"As a member of the Junior Women's Hockey League since inception in 2007 we are thrilled to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the League," said Jeff Eaton, Head Coach of the Pacific Steelers (BC), one of the JWHL's Original Four teams!  "Over the years, we have been fortunate to have a very competitive league with a great talent pool of players.  Welcoming new members this season presents another group of talented females to represent the JWHL."

The JWHL's 10th anniversary season will be highlighted by games at many college rinks, a key goal every season, and this year include Merrimack College, Brown University, Providence College, Colgate University, Northeastern University, the University of Minnesota, and the University of British Columbia. Playoff will be at the Buffalo Sabre's Harborcenter, March 3-5.
